Eagleman 70.3 half-ironman was last weekend down in Cambridge Maryland.
I finished, and in respectable time: 5:15.
It was a really nice surprise having my name printed on the bike rack.
Usually, they just put your race number on the end of a long rack and let you fight for space with everybody else. This was so much more controlled and personal.

I'm in Madison Wisconsin today. They're excited about the Packers early pick in the NFL draft.
Named after James Madison, our 4th President. I didn't know that.
An interesting college town with German roots and a progressive bent.
Of course, it wouldn't be Wisconsin without some reference to cheese.
They seem to have a good arts and music scene.
And are home to a man with a special talent, evidently. I didn't find out.
